While other artists think this is making a progress in Chinese body-art painting, the ethics experts say that is improper and has a negative effect on sexual ethics.
Usually, painters will let their spouse be the model or in many other cases, pay for a nude model. Letting his own daughter be the nude model has never happened in the painting history in China.
Li Qin, the daughter, says “It will only happen in my father’s oil painting. Any other media like photography is not acceptable.” People who have seen the paintings all think Li Qin in the painting is beautiful and pure. But ethics experts say no matter if this is art they are father and daughter and showing naked body of grown daughter before her father is indecent.
The famous sociologist Li Yinhe says “It doesn’t matter as long as they both think it’s fine. It’s not necessary to related to incest.”
