Sky weather presenter Denise Nurse said: “It’s highly unusual to have snow in October - we haven’t seen October snowfall in London since 1934.
“The weather will be cold, bright and frosty. Snow will mainly affect Northern Ireland, Wales and the north of England. It’ll also be breezy, feeling almost blizzard-like.
